Sept. 11, 2004

ROMEOVILLE - Sophomore forward Cathal Brady scored an unassisted goal just 2:01 into the game, and he and his Lewis University teammates made it stand up for a 1-0 victory over Truman State Saturday in a battle of nationally ranked NCAA Division II men's soccer teams.

Lewis, tied for fifth nationally and No. 1 in the Great Lakes Region, improved to 5-0. Truman State, tied for 18th nationally and No. 3 in the region, slipped to 2-1-1.
