2008 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC selection and Delahanty Award winner, given to Lewis student-athletes for academic excellence...appeared in eight games...posted two assists, including a helper on the game-winning goal in a 1-0 triumph over Kentucky Wesleyan (Oct. 5). 2007 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC, recipient of Lewis' Delahanty Award for academic excellence among student athletes and a Deans' List student both semesters...played in 14 games with eight starts...registered two assists and had eight shots with three on goal...notched an assist in Flyers' 2-0 win vs. Northwood (Sept. 1)...tallied a helper at Kentucky Wesleyan (Oct. 5). 2006 Highlights: Academic All-GLVC, Delahanty Award recipient and a Deans' List student both semesters...played in 17 games with 10 starts...registered first collegiate goal in the Flyers' 2-0 win vs. Quincy (Sept. 15)...had first collegiate assist in 3-0 victory vs. Kentucky Wesleyan (Sept. 3). Prep/Personal: Earned four varsity letters as a forward for Mater Dei...scored a school-record 76 career goals ... as a senior, was Belleville News-Democrat all-area, team captain and the team's Most Valuable Player and Outstanding Offensive Player, scoring a school-record 28 goals and adding six assists...Belleville News-Democrat all-area second team, all-sectional, team captain and the team's MVP and Outstanding Offensive Player as a junior, helping lead Mater Dei to its first winning season (12-8) by scoring 25 goals and 10 assists...Belleville News-Democrat all-area second team, all-sectional, team captain and the team's Outstanding Offensive Player as a sophomore, with 22 goals and five assists...one goal and five assists as a freshman...played club soccer for Metro United...also lettered one year in football and track and field, and competed in basketball...in football, was a Belleville News-Democrat small school all-area second-team kicker as a senior...made the high honor roll, named to the National Honor Society and was a Mater Dei Student of the Quarter...son of Bob and Debbie Vance...business administration major. |
