2008 Highlights: Appeared in 13 games, including four starts...finished the season with a goal and an assist...tallied an assist in the 2-0 win over Northwood (Aug. 29)...posted the game-winning goal, his first career score, in the 2-0 win over Saint Xavier (Aug. 31). 2007 Highlights: Fall Deans' List student...used season as redshirt campaign and will retain three years of eligibility. 2006 Highlights: Played in 14 games with three starts...had three shots on goal. Prep/Personal: Earned four varsity letters as a forward and midfielder for Fenton...all-sectional as a senior, with six goals and five assists...all-conference his junior year, scoring eight goals and four assists...as a sophomore, was conference Most Valuable Player, Daily Herald all-area and Player of the Week, and all-sectional honorable mention, scoring 22 goals and eight assists for Fenton's conference championship team...four-year honor roll student...in club soccer, played for Chicago Magic teams that won two national championships, three state titles, a regional crown and three Best of the Midwest titles, and finished third in the nation once...also competed two years on the Illinois ODP team...son of Arturo and Sylvia Rodriguez ... business administration major. |
