Kipp Cartwright's Career Stats 2008 Highlights: Appeared in 16 games, including 13 starts...finished with a team-best, six assists and attempted 21 shots, 11 of which were on goal...had assists in four consecutive games against Indianapolis (Sept. 19), Saint Joseph's (2) (Sept. 21), UW-Parkside (Sept. 26) and Truman State (Sept. 28)...notched an assist in a 2-0 whitewash of Quincy (Oct. 10). 2007 Highlights: Played in 22 games with 14 starts...ranked fourth on team in goals (6) was third on team in game-winning goals (3)...totaled two assists...scored game-winning goals in back-to-back games in a 2-1 double overtime win vs. Missouri-St. Louis (Sept. 14) and a 2-1 win vs. Missouri S&T (Sept. 16)...credited with game-winning goal against Bellarmine (Oct. 28)...scored a goal at Bellarmine (Sept. 9)...notched Flyers' lone goal at No. 21 SIU Edwardsville (Sept. 23)...scored a goal in Flyers 8-0 rout at Kentucky Wesleyan (Oct. 5). 2006 Highlights: Played and started all 19 games...led the team in assists (5) and had two goals...posted first two collegiate assists in Lewis' 2-1 win at Northwood (Aug. 26)...scored first collegiate goal in Flyers' 1-0 win vs. Truman State (Oct. 8)...had an unassisted goal at Drury (Oct. 15)...notched assists against Quincy (Sept. 15), SIU Edwardsville (Sept. 17) and at Missouri-Rolla (Sept. 22). Prep/Personal: Earned three varsity letters as a midfielder and forward for Marian Catholic and Rich East...was all-state, all-conference, Star and Times all-area, Daily Southtown all-area honorable mention, Pepsi Showdown all-tournament and Marian Catholic's Most Valuable Player as a senior...scored school-record 27 goals and added 10 assists...sat out his junior season due to the Illinois High School Association transfer rule...all-conference first team as a sophomore at Rich East, scoring 10 goals and eight assists...all-conference his freshman season, collecting six goals and seven assists...in club soccer, played 10 years with the Midwest Wings...was a member of Wings teams that registered three consecutive third-place state finishes, won a national indoor championship and captured several tournament titles including two straight Disney Showcase crowns...also played two years with Halcones in CLASA competition...son of Jeff and Theresa Cartwright...criminal/social justice major. |
