Aug. 21, 2007 ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - In its annual rankings of over 1,300 collegiate golf programs, the September 2007 issue of Golf Digest listed Lewis among the best in NCAA Division II. The Lewis women's program was ranked 28th among 131 Division II programs, putting the Flyers in the top 21 percent. The men's program was listed 33rd out of 214, placing it in the top 15 percent of D-II programs. Golf Digest's "College Golf Guide" is designed to help high school students find the right school for their needs. The rankings examine the entire school and the opportunity it affords a student-athlete. It measures beyond an individual season, and is designed to make student athletes better aware of the choices available when researching schools. The rankings are based on mathematical computations and the best available data.
