MURRAY, Ky. - The Lewis University men's golf team concluded its fall season by finishing ninth among 10 teams at the Murray State University Invitational, played Monday and Tuesday at the par-71 Miller Golf Club.

The Flyers shot 926 (313-308-305) at the 54-hole tournament that included eight NCAA Division I teams.

Jason Buffone led Lewis, tying for 20th place in the 54-player field with a 10-over-par 223 (74-74-75). Lloyd Roth (83-75-76), Rob Peters (77-79-78) and Curt Trizzino (77-74-83) tied for 41st at 234, Dean Katsaros (79-80-76) was 45th at 235, and Peter Schrum (83-80-78) was 49th at 241.
