Sept. 20, 2005 ALLENDALE, Mich. - Lloyd Roth and Brian Carlson posted top-15 finishes for the Lewis University men's golf team at Monday's Grand Valley State University Fall Invitational, played at the par-72, 6,814-yard Meadows Golf Course. Roth tied for 10th in the 78-player field with rounds of 73 and 77 for a 6-over-par 150 total, just three strokes behind medalists Steve Larson of Grand Valley State and Nick Boone of Davenport University. Carlson carded scores of 74 and 78 for a 152 total, placing him in a tie for 15th. Also competing for Lewis, which tied for eighth place in the 13-team field (308-317=625), were Sumeet Arora, tied for 41st (78-80=158), Shawn Williams, tied for 64th (83-82=165), and Greg Roderique, tied for 76th (91-89=180). |
