Sept. 6, 2006 JOLIET, Ill. - Lewis University golfers captured the top four spots in the Flyers' 286-300 dual-meet victory over St. Francis at Wedgewood Golf Course on Wednesday. Rob Peters topped the field and tied his collegiate career best by firing a 2-under-par 70. Josh Butterfield carded a 71 in his first collegiate competition to finish second, and Sumeet Arora placed third with a 72. Brian Carlson rounded out the Flyers' scoring group with a 73, good for a fourth-place tie. Also competing for Lewis were Lloyd Roth, tied for sixth (74); Shawn Williams, tied for ninth (78); Paul Dagys, tied for 12th (80); Greg Roderique, 17th (83); and Chris Spalla, 19th (91). |
