Sept. 7, 2005 JOLIET - Lloyd Roth fired a 71 Wednesday to lead the Lewis University men's golf team in the Flyers' 281-292 season-opening loss to St. Francis at Wedgewood Golf Course. Freshmen Sumeet Arora and Greg Roderique carded rounds of 72 and 74, respectively, in their first collegiate competition, and Brian Carlson (75) rounded out the Flyers' scoring group. Also playing for Lewis were Shawn Williams (76), Dennis McLain (77), Matt Evans (77), Jake Nagy (79) and Chris Spalla (84). |
