April 8, 2006 ARLINGTON, Ohio - The Lewis University men's golf team placed 10th among 16 teams at the University of Findlay's Outback Steakhouse Invitational Friday and Saturday. The Flyers carded scores of 327 and 315 for a 642 total on the par-72, 6,681-yard Sycamore Springs Golf Course. Sumeet Arora led the Flyers, tying for 16th with consecutive rounds of 78 for a 156 total. Also competing for Lewis were Brian Carlson, tied for 51st (83-79=162); Lloyd Roth, tied for 54th (85-78=163); Rob Peters, tied for 54th (83-80=163); and Jacob Nagy, tied for 63rd (83-82=165). The Flyers compete in the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship Monday and Tuesday. |
