March 26, 2005 COLUMBUS, Ind. - The Lewis University men's golf team tied for fourth place among eight teams but finished just seven shots out of the lead at the Parkside Invitational. The Flyers shot 297 and tied for fourth with Bellarmine. Northern Kentucky won the tournament with a 290, with Indianapolis and Southern Indiana tying for second at 294. Jason Buffone and Peter Schrum led Lewis and tied for 11th among 56 golfers with a 1-over-par 73 on the 6,897-yard Otter Creek Golf Course. Curt Trizzino (75) tied for 20th, Dean Katsaros (76) tied for 24th, Lloyd Roth (77) tied for 27th and Rob Peters (79) tied for 37th. |
