March 22, 2004 LEITCHFIELD, Ky. - Jason Buffone tied for 12th place among 104 golfers Sunday to lead the Lewis University men's golf team at the NCAA Division II District 4 Tournament #2. Buffone carded a 5-over-par 77 at Lafayette Golf Club. Also competing for Lewis were Lloyd Roth, tied for 53rd (83); Rob Peters, tied for 68th (85); Tres Steffey, tied for 97th (91); and Dennis McLain, tied for 99th (92). The Flyers shot 336 and finished 18th among 21 teams. Saginaw Valley State won the tournament with a 308. |
