March 12, 2006 SAVANNAH, Ga. - Sumeet Arora tied for 19th place among 62 golfers to lead Lewis at the GEICO Direct Spring Invitational. Arora carded rounds of 76-77-77 for a 230 total at the par-72, 6,845-yard Hunter Golf Club. The Flyers finished eighth in the 10-team field with scores of 304-311-322=937. Also competing for Lewis were Jacob Nagy, tied for 31st (81-76-78=235); Lloyd Roth, tied for 40th (76-77-86=239); Brian Carlson, tied for 43rd (76-81-83=240); Rob Peters, 49th (76-85-84=245); and Matt Evans, 60th (90-88-86=264). Peters' opening-round 76 matches his season best. |
