March 7, 2006 PICKWICK DAM, Tenn. - Lloyd Roth tied for 25th place in a 79-player field to lead the Lewis University men's golf team at Tennessee-Martin's Grover Page Classic. Roth carded rounds of 74-73-77 for an 8-over-par 224 at the par-72, 6,483-yard Pickwick State Park course. The Flyers tied for eighth place in the 12-team field with scores of 310-313-304 for a 927 total. Shawn Williams (82-78-70) and Sumeet Arora (79-79-72) tied for 46th place at 230. Rob Peters was 63rd (77-88-76=241), Jacob Nagy was 64th (80-78-84=242), Brian Carlson tied for 65th (81-83-79=243) and Matt Evans was 76th (88-85-86=259). Williams' 70 and Peters' 76 in the final round are season-best scores for both players. |
