JOLIET, Ill. - The Lewis University men's golf team was defeated 293-297 by the University of St. Francis Thursday at Wedgewood Golf Course.

The Flyers were led by Tres Steffey, who shot 71. Also competing for Lewis were Dennis McLain (73), Jason Buffone (74), Lloyd Roth (79), Rob Peters (79), Ryan Hewson (79), Dean Katsaros (80) and Kevin Lind (95).

The Flyers compete at Illinois State's D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate Sept. 14-15.
