Feb. 19, 2006 PHILADELPHIA, Miss. - The Lewis University men's golf team opened the spring portion of its 2005-06 season Sunday against a predominantly NCAA Division I field at Jackson State's Pizza Hut/Bell South Intercollegiate. The Flyers tied for 11th among 13 teams in the scheduled 36-hole tournament that was shortened to 18 holes by adverse weather. Brian Carlson tied for 30th (79), Jake Nagy tied for 43rd (82), Sumeet Arora tied for 52nd (84) and Rob Peters finished 64th (93). |
