Prep/Personal: Earned three varsity letters for Plainfield Central...finished his career as the Wildcats' career leader in 3-point field goals (121), and finished second on the school's career lists in points (1,200) and assists...as a senior, was the Suburban Prairie Conference Most Valuable Player and Herald News area MVP...averaged 16 points, five rebounds and four assists, helping the Wildcats to a 22-5 record, the conference title and the Lemont Christmas tournament championship...helped propel Plainfield Central to its best-ever record (25-3) and conference, regional and Lemont Christmas tournament crowns his junior season...averaged 15 points, four rebounds and four assists that year and was Herald News all-area first team, conference MVP, Thanksgiving tournament MVP and Lemont Christmas tournament MVP...as a sophomore, averaged 14 points, four rebounds and four assists and was all-conference first team, Herald News all-area second team and Lemont Christmas all-tournament...the team was 21-6 and won the conference crown that season...played six seasons with the Illinois Wolves AAU program...four-year honor roll student...son of Rich and Becky Sharp...finance major. |
