Condric Sanders enters his first season as an assistant coach for the Lewis University men's basketball team. A veteran of the collegiate coaching ranks, Sanders spent last season as an assistant for Robert Morris University in Chicago. While there, Sanders helped the Eagles to a mark of 29-4 and a berth in the 2009 `NAIA Final Four'. Prior to joining Robert Morris, Sanders spent 10 years as both a student and assistant coach for Highland Community College from 1998 through 2008. While there, the Cougars made five straight appearances in the NJCAA Division 1 National Tournament, including a berth in the 2006 `Final Four'. "Condric brings a wealth of experience to our staff," Lewis head men's coach Scott Trost said. "He has been instrumental in the success of Highland Community College and Robert Morris University. He is a proven recruiter with many ties, not only in Chicago, but in the upper Midwest. Condric is a quality person and is an excellent addition to Lewis University and our men's basketball program." Sanders also serves as a substitute teacher in the Chicago Public School system and as a youth care worker for Methodist Youth Services. |
