In game one, Concordia scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth and claimed a 4-2 victory. Both games were seven-inning affairs. In winning his first collegiate start, Rolle allowed two runs, three hits and one walk while striking out three. Justin Barr came on in the sixth and kept Concordia at bay, retiring the last five batters he faced. Flyer starter Dave Scheibe pitched well in the opener, going 5 1/3 innings, fanning two and yielding three runs, four hits and two walks. Naut's two-run double accounted for the Flyers' only tallies.
