May 17, 2007 ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Lewis University's Adrian Myers has qualified for the 2007 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in the 800 meters. Myers will compete at the outdoor national meet, which will be held in Charlotte, N.C., for a second consecutive season. His qualifying time of 1:50.76 ranks No. 7 in the nation. Myers, who narrowly missed making the 800 meters final a year ago, is aiming for a third All-America honor. He is a two-time indoor All-American as a member of the Flyers' distance medley relay team that placed sixth in 2006 and third this season in national competition. The 800 meters preliminaries are scheduled for Friday, May 25, at 6:15 p.m. Eastern time, and the final is set for Saturday at 6:59. |
