ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Dave Dobersztyn improved his NCAA Division II provisional qualifying time in the 55-meter hurdles, and Scott Barnas narrowly missed a provisional qualifying mark while posting Lewis' No. 2 all-time performance in the shot put at the Dick Pond Open. Dobersztyn, who last month recorded a provisional clocking in the Flyers' season opener at Illinois State, ran a time of :07.58. Barnas registered a toss of 51-7¾. That mark is just 2¼ inches shy of the school record and 4¼ inches away from the NCAA provisional qualifying standard. |
