INDIANAPOLIS - Junior Michael Lapustin of the Lewis University swim team earned All-America honors Friday with a seventh-place finish in the 100 backstroke at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships.

Lapustin clocked a school-record time of :50.16, breaking his own Lewis standard of :50.68 set last month at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships.
