Jan. 21, 2006 MARQUETTE, Mich. - Lewis University's Mary Jung and Stephanie White-Olson each won three events, but the Flyers were nipped 98-97 by Northern Michigan Saturday afternoon. Jung won the 100 freestyle (:56.33) and 500 freestyle (5:29.77), while White-Olson captured the 200 individual medley (2:17.20) and 200 breaststroke (2:28.58). The duo joined Jenny Byers and Michelle Sliva to win the 200 medley relay (1:55.89). Sliva won the 200 butterfly (2:15.26) for the Flyers, whose next action comes at the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championship Feb. 15-18. |
