Tim Hillen is in his first season as the graduate assistant coach for the Lewis University men's and women's swimming teams.

Hillen attended Lewis and swam for the Flyers for two years before transferring to Saint Cloud State. A team captain, he set eight school records during his time at Lewis. He also was a member of the 200 medley relay team that still owns the Lewis pool record of 1:41.48.

While swimming for Saint Cloud State, Hillen established a school record of 7:05.07 as a member of the 800 freestyle relay team.

Hillen graduated from Saint Cloud State with a bachelor's degree in psychology, and he is pursuing an MBA in human resource management at Lewis.
