Uno Lapimaa (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese) (Tallinn, Estonia/Audentese) has been selected as the ITA Midwest Region 'Senior Player of the Year' for the 2011-12 campaign as he helped the Flyers advance to the NCAA Midwest Regional Men's Tennis Tournament for the second time in the past three years.
Lapimaa, a two-time Great Lakes Valley Conference Player of the Year, went 36-6 in singles play this year and a combined 32-7 in doubles action. As of May 2nd, Lapimaa was ranked No. 21 in the nation, No. 1 in the Midwest Region for singles and No. 5 in the Midwest for doubles play with freshman

Lapimaa's most impressive performance came during the fall campaign, as he placed fifth overall at the USTA/ITA National Small College Singles Championship.
